Lysol Deal

I found out about another deal on Lysol products today and wanted to share it with you. This week Albertson's has some of their Lysol products on sale for 50% off. In the ad it lists the wipes, bathroom cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, and all purpose cleaner. But when I got to the store a few more of the varieties were also on sale (the 4 in 1 cleaner, kitchen cleaner, and a few more).

In the 3/15 SS packet, there are the following coupons:
Lysol All Purpose Cleaner Pourables, any .50/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15
Lysol All Purpose Cleaner Trigger, Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner or Lysol Plus Bleach, any .50/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15
Lysol Bathroom Cleaner or Mildew Remover, any .75/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15
Lysol Disinfecting Spray, any 12o z. or larger $1/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15
Lysol Disinfecting Wipes, any $1/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15
Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, any .75/1 (5-11-09) SS-3/15

That in and of itself is a pretty good deal. However, in the 3/15 SS packet, on the same page as the coupons, there is information about a rebate of $3 when you buy 3 different products. Click on the following link for information and to download the form: Lysol $3 Rebate Site. Simply click on the "<< Print and download mail-in offer" link and it will bring up a pdf document that you can print, fill out, and mail in. Just remember that for the $3 rebate, you have to purchase 3 different Lysol products.

So here's just one example of how you can work it:

1. Go to Albertson's and purchase 1 bathroom cleaner, 1 toilet bowl cleaner, and 1 kitchen cleaner. Bathroom cleaner was $1.99, Toilet Bowl Cleaner was $1.49, and Kitchen Cleaner was $1.99
2. Use 3 coupons from 3/15 SS packet - 75 cents off of bathroom cleaner, 75 cents off of toilet bowl cleaner, 50 cents off of kitchen cleaner
3. Total paid = $1.99 + $1.49 + $1.99 - $.75 - $.75 - $.50 = $3.47 + tax
4. Mail in rebate for $3 back
5. Total spent for 3 Lysol products = $.47 + tax

I just noticed that there are also online coupons for the Lysol products on the same page as the the rebate details - look at the right hand column and click on the Print and Save box and it will take you to the coupons. They aren't quite as good as the coupons in the 3/15 SS packet, but better than nothing if you don't have the coupons from the paper.

You can, of course buy any of the Lysol products (excluding the Neutra Air products), but in order to get the best deal, you'll want to purchase those that are on sale for 50% off and have a coupon associated with them. Remember that the 50% off sale at Albertson's end on 4/14/09. There is a limit of 1 rebate submission per name, address, or household.
